The Town of Patagonia’s Election Director, Isabel Van Nest, is busy gearing up for the 2024 Primary Election.
This year the Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, July 30 from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at 310 McKeown Ave.
You can request an early ballot in writing during Town Hall hours Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
On this year’s ballot are four candidates running for three council member positions: Ronald Reibslager, Gary Retherford, Michael Stabile and Anita Francesca Claverie.
A candidate must receive 51% of votes cast to be immediately elected. Votes cast are the total number of people who voted.
Candidates with less than 51% votes cast will have a run-off on November 5th in the general election.
