Get ready to color our world in the 2025 summer reading program at the Patagonia Public Library. The events will be held at the library, July 15-18, with those for children up to nine running from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and the ones for 10-18-year-olds from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
This year’s program revolves around the theme of “coloring our world.” What does that mean to you? Here at the library, “coloring our world” means being creative, coloring our world with kindness, coloring our world by sharing, coloring our world with laughter, coloring our community with goodness.
The library team invites the younger group to join us in the morning for bright, beautiful books filled with fun stories, crafts and healthy snacks. For the older crowd, please join us in the afternoon where we will learn American Sign Language. You’ll begin with the alphabet, numbers, days of the week and by the end, you’ll be able to sign common words and phrases. Never fear, there will be snacks for you too.
Space is limited so please call us at 520.394.2010 to register. If you’re over 18 but would like to get involved and/or volunteer with this year’s program, we’d love to have you. Give us a call at the same number and we’ll put a plan together.
Regardless of your age, we look forward to seeing you at the library this summer.
