The Patagonia Senior and Community Center recently installed a new kitchen.
The upgrade consisted of stainless-steel wall and floor cabinets, a stainless-steel food preparation island, and a quartz serving countertop. The overall cost was $43,000.
During the kitchen upgrade, senior lunches were prepared and served at St. Theresa’s commercial kitchen and dining hall for a period of eight weeks.
Honorable mention for this upgrade goes to the Town manager Ron Robinson, his workers, Richard Ohnstad and Ray Klein, and cook Roxann Valenzuela.
