Who can attend?

Anyone can attend. Admission is free. Capacity in the theater will be limited to 100. Doors will open at 1:30pm.

Will the forum be streamed or available to view later?

The PRT will stream the event on Facebook Live. It will be recorded and made available via YouTube. We Love Nogales will also be streaming the event on their channel.

What is the format of the forum?

The forum will begin at 2pm with two-minute opening statements from each of the candidates.

The moderator will then ask a series of questions that have been prepared beforehand but not shared with the candidates. The moderator will determine the order in which the candidates answer questions. Each candidate will be given two minutes to answer a question, with the other candidates then each given one minute to respond.

At the conclusion of the forum, the candidates will each be given one minute for a closing statement.

After the forum concludes at 4pm, candidates will be encouraged to meet interested attendees. The theater will close at 4:30pm.

Can the audience ask questions during the forum?

No, but the PRT is taking suggestions ahead of time for questions that should be posed to the candidates during the forum. Send your suggestions to editor@prtnews.org

In addition, candidates will be encouraged to be available at the theater before and after the forum to answer any additional questions from audience members.
