The PRT learned in a phone call today that the Santa Cruz County Health Dept. is aware of a glitch in their system over the last few days causing some confusion and frustration among those trying to register for the COVID vaccine Phase 1B. The County stated they are currently working to rectify the issue.

At this time, the Santa Cruz County Health Department and Mariposa Community Health Center are working to vaccinate public safety officers, adults over the age of 75, and healthcare workers that were not vaccinated under Phase 1A.

The Health Department is confident they will have an online portal available on their website no later than next Tuesday. They are encouraging people to check back frequently should it be available before then. If you qualify for the vaccination, as described above, please email hservices@santacruzcountyaz.gov or call 520-375-7626 for an appointment. The County suggests leaving your information via email if possible as the margin for information error is less.
