The Town of Patagonia will hold a regular Town Council meeting Wednesday, March 12 at 6pm in Town Hall Council Chambers at 310 McKeown Avenue.
The meeting can also be attended via Zoom. The meeting I.D. is 957-511-4862 and the password is 338501.
Items on the agenda include:
- Public hearing on a request by Town Manager Ron Robinson to increase user rates for water and sewage, including a presentation on the proposal by Mr. Robinson and an opportunity for the public to comment. The hearing will be followed by a discussion on public comments and recommendations, and possible action by the Council to vote on the proposed rate increases. Water and sewer fees would increase by 80% over the next six years if the Council approves the measure, with a 25% discount for low income households and a 50% discount off the base rate for householders when the house is unoccupied. For more information on the proposal, see “Patagonia Considers Water, Sewer Rate Hikes.”
- Discussion and possible action to allow the construction of a new “wireless communication facility” for T-Mobile on an existing ballfield light pole at PUHS.
- Discussion and possible action to “approve the Town of Patagonia Low Income Utility Discount” application.
