UPDATE: “Patagonia Council, County Supes to discuss South32 investment agreement at Wednesday meetings.”


Patagonia Mayor Andy Wood called a Special Town Council Meeting and Study Session on Friday to be held next Wednesday, March 4.

The meeting, which will be open to the public in person and via Zoom, will open with a “study session” presentation by Town Manager Ron Robinson, which, according to the agenda, will be “regarding the Early Actions Community Investment Agreement with Santa Cruz County, City of Nogales and South32/Hermosa.”

Following the study session, Council will discuss and take possible action to approve Robinson signing the agreement.

No details about the agreement have been made available.
