Live Theatre “Heidi’s Monkeys” to be performed in Sonoita at Meading Room. $10 per ticket.
“Heidi’s Monkeys” will be presented at 7:00 p.m. on October 29th, 30th, and a full moon Halloween night finale. Tickets cost $10 and guests are encouraged to come early for a taste of a special edition Halloween themed mead, to experience Sonoran classic dishes from Txoko Food Truck, and for a complementary Tarot Card reading. The Meading Room is located at 3470 AZ-82 in Sonoita.
Isabel Rose Lysiak heads the cast as the disturbed youngster in this psychological thriller. Featured in the cast are Emma Young, Sophia Lattanzio, Liam Young, and the theatrical debuts of Georgia Lysiak and Zannah Daniels. The production will be directed by Jared Krikorian.
This is the sixth consecutive year Lysiak has produced“Heidi’s Monkeys”, which is based upon his recollection of an eerie childhood experience. The two-act drama focuses upon young Heidi Mayerson, whose sickness and subsequent descent into madness adds a chilling effect to this tension-filled thriller.
The show is rated “PG” for excessive blood, and adult themes.
The biggest change guests will notice is the venue; the performance will happen under the stars in the sprawling greenspace outside of the Meading Room in Sonoita. Other safety measures include readily available hand sanitizers, and socially distanced seating.
