The Patagonia Library offers free “Culture Passes” to various cultural events and museums across Arizona, including Tucson’s Reid Park Zoo. Photo by Marion Vendituoli
One little known service that the Patagonia Library provides to our patrons are culture passes. These passes are available through a program called Act One Arizona. They provide free passes to cultural events and museums across Arizona.Â
The library currently has twelve available culture passes for check out. Each pass grants two free tickets to a museum or event. Some of my favorite places that the culture passes provide access to are the Reid Park Zoo, The Children’s Museum, and The Sonoran Desert Museum, but there are many others across Arizona.
The Culture Pass Program’s goal is to make cultural sites and events accessible to all Arizona residents and they are constantly updating the list of offered passes. Every library who partners with this program has a limited number of passes per location each week. Once checked out, the passes are good for seven days. Come by the library for more information and to check them out for yourself!
