Press Release

Beautiful downtown Patagonia will be a celebration of art and fine craftsmanship at the 20th Annual Patagonia Art Walk. The annual event takes place on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 25th and 26th, from 10 am – 4 pm.

The Art Walk will showcase the work of talented artists from Patagonia, Sonoita, Elgin, and a bit beyond. Featuring a Farmer’s Market with local products, live music and entertainment, and an auction of Spirit Horse Sculptures.

Artists will be displaying their unique wares in the Town Park and along Patagonia’s main street, in socially distanced booths. All the local merchants will be well-stocked with amazing items for holiday gift giving. Visitors to Patagonia will be able to visit local artists in their studios, as well. Featured studios include:

  • The Textile Courtyard — 255 Third Avenue — multiple fabric artists
  • Frankie’s Silver Jewelry Studio — 441 McKeown Avenue — jewelry
  • Judith Hinton Andrew’s Studio — 305 Smelter Avenue — paintings, prints and cards

Artist-created gifts for purchase at this year’s Patagonia Art Walk include: metal sculpture, paintings, art cards, repurposed jewelry, hand carved bone jewelry, photography, mixed media works, crystals and stones, wood works, needle felted abstracts, pottery, homegrown instruments, dried flower wonders, and much more.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy musical performances by local talent, food and beverages, and a relaxed small town friendly vibe. A special tap dance troupe will perform on Saturday afternoon. The Patagonia Art Walk is free, family friendly, and open to all.

“Please come be our guest!” said Mary Sky of the Patagonia Art Walk. “Bring your family, friends and neighbors to stretch your legs and breathe in our fresh mountain air on a vibrant autumn day.
