This compact kerosene stove was used in the early 1900s for everything from heating sad irons to making coffee on a camping trip. It was designed for portability, measuring 8.5 inches tall and 5 inches wide.
Manufactured by the Central Oil & Gas Co. of Gardner, Mass., this cast iron artifact is on loan to the Patagonia Museum as part of the George Proctor collection.
