Senior forward Diego Carranza and junior guard Emma Lewton were selected for the 1A South all-region basketball teams.
Carranza was the leading scorer for the Patagonia boys team, which finished its season with a 10-11 record. He averaged 15.2 points per game, according to MaxPreps.
Lewton was the top scorer for the Patagonia girls (6-12), averaging 9.7 points per game, according to MaxPreps.
Two other Patagonia girls were recognized: junior Brianna Majalca was second-team all-region, and senior Meghan Aguilar was honorable mention.
