The Santa Cruz County Cowbelles have awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Nicholas Young, of Sonoita. Nicholas, a 2025 graduate of Patagonia Union High School, is the son of David and Angela Young. 

He plans to attend the University of Arizona to study agribusiness. His goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree in agriculure and use his education to get a job in a related field. 

Nicholas is one of three Santa Cruz County graduating seniors to receive a SCC Cowbelle scholarship this year. The Cowbelles wish scholarship recipients and all applicants the very best for their future educational endeavors.
