I wholly object to a new Border Patrol station. With all the heightened security at the border, there is absolutely not enough illegal migrant traffic north from Mexico to justify an ugly station blemishing our beautiful grasslands. This is a huge con by a corrupt administration that violates the law with impunity, with an eye towards a clearly fascist ideology.
The wall is bad enough, and mark my words, I will spend my life working to take that wall down. And they are never happy. Now they want a double wall. Can you imagine if you were outrunning a fire and you ran into that foolish wall.
I live 25 miles southeast of Sonoita in Canelo. Have you seen the condition of the road south? Despite billions of dollars in a pointless wall, have they ever offered us a cent to repair the road damage they incur driving routinely 20 miles over the speed limit, north and south, 365 days a year.
Mr. Fanning is absolutely right with his seven points, of which I could add several more regarding wildlife and the environment.
