The July 27, 2022 ribbon cutting marked the completion of phase 3 in the Town’s roadworks improvement project. This phase included repaving of the road between 3rd Ave. and 4th Ave, paved parking spots along the park, the paving of Quiroga Lane, and the installation of 4-way stops at 3rd and 4th Aves.
The project was funded by a Community Development Block Grant facilitated by SEAGO of approximately $450,000, as well as a grant from South32 for $295,000.
