Patagonia Mayor Andy Wood on Friday called a Special Town Council Meeting and Study Session to be held next Wednesday, March 4 at 6:00 pm.

The meeting, which will be open to the public in person and via Zoom, will open with a study session presentation by Town Manager Ron Robinson regarding an “Early Actions Community Investment Agreement” with Santa Cruz County, City of Nogales and South32. Following the study session, Council will discuss and take possible action to approve Robinson signing the agreement.

The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors will also be holding a study session, Board discussion and possible vote on the Early Actions Community Investment Agreement next Wednesday, March 4 during their 5:30 pm meeting. Chris Young, Deputy County Manager, is scheduled to present the study session.

The County Supervisors’ meeting will be held Wednesday, March 4 at 5:30 PM at the

Additionally, District 3 County Supervisor John Fanning will be in Sonoita this Monday, March 2, from 8:00-10:30 a.m. for a previously scheduled “community check-in” in the Sonoita Community Space at 3147 SR 83. Members of the public are invited to “share your thoughts, ask questions, and discuss the issues that matter most to you.”

The Patagonia Town Council meeting will be held Wednesday, March 4 at 6:00 pm in Council chambers at Patagonia Town Hall. Space inside the Council chambers is limited to 47 people. Zoom access is available via MEETING I.D. 957-511-4862 and PASSCODE 338501.
