2024 General Election – SCC County Election Department Issues Four Unofficial Reports with Voting Results for County
The Santa Cruz County Elections Director has issued four reports updating the latest tabulations from ballots across the county, including early and election-day ballots.

UPDATED AT – 1:44am Second Unofficial Report
8:22pm First Unofficial Report Alma Shultz, Clerk of the Board and Elections Director for Santa Cruz County, released the first unofficial results for early voting. Highlights from the initial report show BOS District 3—John Fanning (D) with 64% of the vote with 3,742 votes, Interim County Treasurer Alejandro Paz (D) with 93% of the vote with 9,577 votes, County Sheriff David Hathaway (D) with 64% of the vote with 7,639 votes, and Adriana Olaiz (D) running for Justice of the Peace with 67% of the vote with 7,807 votes so far.
