The Patagonia Town Council will hold its first of two regular meetings this month on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 6pm. As always, members of the public may attend the Council meeting in person or via Zoom: Meeting I.D. 957-511-4862, password 338501

Agenda items for this meeting include:

  • Discussion and possible action to approve the town manager to execute a part-time Library Director services agreement with Linda Shore. This is a two-year agreement.
  • Discussion and possible action to approve the town manager to sign a proposal for the engineering and installation of two solar-powered speed controllers on SR82 (Naugle Ave.). The engineering (by CPE Consultants) and installation (by ADOT-approved contractor APW) costs are a total of $16,859.90.
  • Discussion and possible action to allow the town manager to sign a proposal with Ecotone Biodiversity for $10,032.50 to install irrigation and a succulent rock garden around the south gazebo at Beaty Lane in Dr. Mock Park. The funds will be disbursed from the Surface Transportation Block grant.

The next regular Council meeting will be held Aug. 27.
