Recycling Program Coming Back to Patagonia
Recycling class, Thurs. Dec 7, 1:00 at the town hall. Recycling will be starting Dec 21 in Patagonia. The recycling program will be run by the town, behind the post office on Thursday mornings. People will be able to drive in and drop items off with a volunteer or town employee. In the past, the program had issues with contamination of recycled goods – dirty plastics, garbage, etc. – The new program aims to keeper tighter restrictions and a more tightly controlled system. This Thursday’s meeting will be a training for potential volunteers, and it is open to anyone who wants to better understand the recycling process.
