March 21, 2020 Arizona State Parks and Trails recreation parks and trails are open, but all events have been cancelled and all historic parks and gift shops are closed until May 8. The Discovery Center at Kartchner Caverns State Park is also closed. Gatherings of more than 10 people are discouraged within park property in response to updated guidelines from the Arizona Department of Health Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
