Support the PRT during our Spring Fundraiser
Can you help us by donating to our annual Spring Campaign Fundraiser? We have a hefty goal to meet this year of $5,000 by April 23. Can we count on you to help us reach our goal by donating to the PRT? Every dollar counts! As a nonprofit newsroom, we depend on donations and grants to be able to continue bringing you news and information that would otherwise go unreported. Community driven, community supported.

News from the Nest at the Paton Center

By Tom Brown – Site Manager – Paton Center for Hummingbirds The trees are leaving out, flowers are blooming, and our summer birds are migrating back into the Patagonia area. Here at the Paton Center for Hummingbirds, these new migrants are bringing a riot of color, with the Wilsonโs Warblers, Yellow-rumped Warblers, and Lazuli Buntings just to name a few. It wonโt be long until we see Blue Grosbeaks, Yellow-billed Cuckoos, Western Tanagers, and Vermilion Flycatchers to help continue adding vibrance to the yard. Click here to read more.
Rabies Incidents a Reminder to keep Pets Vaccinated
Press Release The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) reminds the public to protect themselves and their pets by keeping a safe distance from wildlife, especially animals that may be behaving abnormally, such as those that appear overly aggressive and/or lacking a fear of humans. The reminder comes after a gray fox, suspected of being rabid, bit three people in two separate attacks earlier this month. Click here to read more.
