Patricia “Pat” Grombly
April 2, 1934 – July 3, 2025
Patricia “Pat” Grombly, 91, of Elgin (originally from Ohio), passed on Thursday, July 3, 2025 peacefully at her Elgin home surrounded by loved ones. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Leo Grombly, her daughter Tracy Naegle, her brother William Johnson Jr., and sister Marian Strittmatter. She is survived by her sons James (Jackie) of Bakersfield, CA, Michael, Richard (Marsha), Donald, and Stephen (Mickey), son-in-law Tim Naegle, all of Arizona, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pat worked for the United States Postal Service for 18 years, serving as the Postmaster for 16 years. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Angels parish, and was actively involved in the Sonoita/Elgin community for many years. She loved to travel, garden, play cards and read. By far, she was most proud of her family and spending time with them.
