Leslie Gaskill passed away at home in Elgin, February 13, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

A lifelong resident of Southern Arizona, Leslie was a graduate of Tombstone High School, where she was known as a talented athlete. She was honored as a Sonoita Rodeo Queen and later served as a Correctional Officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Throughout her life, she held various jobs in the community, but the role she cherished most was being a mother.

Leslie was known for her strength, honesty, quick wit, and love of life. She faced challenges with determination and had a way of making people laugh.

She is survived by her son, Jayson Hicks; her daughter, Nichole Webb; and her beloved granddaughter; and many family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held on July 12 at 11 a.m. at Black Oak Cemetery.Â
