From many quality applicants, the Anne Stradling Equine Foundation selected four stellar youth and are awarding a total of $10,000 to help further the education for these dedicated, driven youth in our community.
Ryan Anderson, son of John and April Anderson, impressed the scholarship committee with his exemplary grades, character, and service. He will be graduating with honors from Benson High School in May. Ryan is being awarded a $4,000 scholarship to attend New Mexico State University, where he will be pursuing a degree in Wildlife Management.
Alexandra Maldonado of Nogales High School, and Veridiana Terriquez and Jazmin Lopez, both of Rio Rico High School, were each awarded a $2,000 scholarship to further their education. Each of these amazing young ladies have chosen business or agricultural careers that will give back to their communities. Congratulations to all of the Class of 2023!
