The Patagonia Regional Times is a free monthly local print newspaper that focuses on the Eastern Santa Cruz county in Southern Arizona. You can access all our news for free online.
May 3rd is UNESCO’s World Press Freedom Day — a day dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of an independent press. In honor of #worldpressfreedomday The New York Times has launched a campaign today encouraging readers to find a local news organization they trust, and to support it through a subscription or donation. As a member of Institute for Nonprofit News (INN) the PRT is being featured in the Times campaign of local news organizations around the country.
Local news sources are vital to the safety, security and knowledge of our communities, never more so than in these difficult times.
