Oct 9, 2020

The Patagonia Recycling Task Force, an outgrowth of last January’s PRT-sponsored community recycling forum, has been approved by the distributors of The Story of Plastic documentary to sponsor a free public screening of the film from Saturday, October 10 through October 24.

The Story of Plastic takes a detailed look at the environmental damage and human rights abuses that occur throughout the lifecycle of plastic and explores what individuals, communities, companies and countries can do to address the problems.

The task force will end the screening project with a virtual community discussion event from 4:00-6:00 p.m. AZ Time on Saturday, October 24 using Zoom. The event will focus on generating ideas for tackling the plastics pollution problem on every level from personal and community to national and worldwide.
