The community is invited to the annual Cinco de Mayo lunch at the Patagonia Senior Center on Friday, May 3. Chef Carla is preparing a variety of Her Mexican specialties. The cost is $10 at the door and proceeds benefit the center.

The center was recently accepted as a partner of the Food Bank of Southern Arizona, said Chuck Kelly, a spokesperson. This means “we should soon be eligible to receive free produce and meat products, thereby decreasing our food expenses,” he said.
